Both use the same data and billing. Install Cite42 in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex CLI, Codex Desktop, Cursor, Claude.ai, or ChatGPT when you want your agent to pick the right tool from plain English. For your own code, scripts, or backend, call the REST API with a Bearer key.

Cite42 workflows combine tools for AI Search, AI Rankings, SEO Keywords, Search Trends, citations, Reddit, YouTube, and more. The workflow price is calculated from the tools it runs and the AI models you ask it to check.

No. Cite42 calls each provider's API with web search enabled. Consumer apps can add personalization, memory, experiments, and interface-specific behavior that their APIs do not reproduce.

If two customers send the same prompt to the same models on the same day, we cache the provider response and serve both. That keeps per-call pricing low. Common prompts often see high cache hit rates at scale.

Prepaid credits never expire. Reading your balance, pricing, and call history is free. Successful data calls are billed at the listed rate, including responses served from cache.
